Communities of Practice

Evoke Research and Consulting delivers results to our customers by combining industry best practices with corporate intellectual capital to efficiently and effectively complete projects. Each and every Evoke consultant is a portal that delivers our entire corporate capability to the mission.

Evoke established the Communities of Practices (CoPs) program in order to maintain currency with industry best practices, identify relevant certifications, and to capture and share the best practices from across our projects. Employees are encouraged to share ideas, learn about new trends in the industry, and train their peers.  The most important product of these Communities of Practice is the ever-evolving methodologies and the set of consulting tools that are developed as part of the Evoke service offerings.  These service offerings are the life blood of our firm.

Being a leader in the management-consulting world requires a continuous evolution of delivery methodologies to incorporate industry best practices and practical experience. At Evoke, we constantly are striving to improve. We believe that sharing information and experiences within a like-minded group allows the members to learn from each other and develop themselves personally and professionally. To that end, we have established three COPs around our Core Competencies – which:

  • Capture and make available best practices and intellectual capital from Industry and Evoke to enable standardization and continual improvement for our organization
  • Enable our staff to benefit from the collective experience and performance of our organization, leveraging it to increase their capabilities
  • Allows our customers to benefit from standard, repeatable, and proven approaches to project execution
  • Interact with professional organizations to identify and stay current with industry trends
  • Identify and deliver training opportunities for the Evoke consultants
  • Provide career mentorship to active members to identify career enhancing activities
  • Identify relevant certification programs for our employees, developing them

Organizational Improvement Services

Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is a management technique that identifies changes to existing ways of doing business to further align organizational resources with high level strategic goals and objectives. Government legislation and an increased need for reduced spending and improved performance has driven agencies and industry alike to look for support in implementing BPR practices. For this reason, Evoke has embarked on implementing this BPR CoP aimed at achieving the following goals:
